ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

Users will be required to register an account before placing and AD. Registration is free and easy. Click on “Register for a free Account” or “Place your Classified AD Here”, enter your email address and follow the required prompts to register your free account. You will be required to validate email address by going to your email account and respond to the request for validation. Once that is done you will be able to log into your account and complete the rest of information on you Profile as well as adding a photo or logo. Once done with that, simply post your AD/S. All ADS will first be be checked and then released for publication by Classifieds24-7. Remember, the site is geared towards effective selling of your ite. Therefore, ensure your information requested is complete and reflected in such a way to promote transparency and effective advertising.

 

HOW TO POST AN AD ON CLASSIFIEDS24-7 

Posting an ad on Classifieds24-7 is totally free and it couldn’t be easier thanks to this handy step-by-step guide. Follow the simple steps below and it won’t be long before your ad is live and replies from interested buyers start streaming in!

  1. Start by clicking the big orange “PLACE YOUR CLASSIFIED AD HERE” button – it’s easy to spot in the top right-hand corner of Classifieds24-7.
  2. Then choose your category, sub-category and sub-sub-category if it is required. This helps potential buyers to browse for and find the goods they are looking for which ultimately improves your chances of selling
  3. Fill in all the relevant information of your ad – a short, informative ad title, a great description and a competitive price can go a long way in helping you to sell your item.
  4. As they say, “a picture is worth 1000 words” and ads with images are much more likely to be successful than those without! Click the green “Click or Drop for Upload of Images (6 max)” button and select images saved to your computer or mobile device.
  5. The next step is to choose your location by selecting the province, city and suburb where you are based.
  6. Enter your City Area (Extension) and address. Your contact detail (phone and email address) was loaded on your account. Please ensure that it is correct, so buyers can get in touch with you about purchasing your item.
  7. The administrator will be notified of your AD and will be moderated by the administrator. If we find abusive language or inappropriate material your AD will be deleted without prejudice.
  8. Now it’s time to decide if you want to promote your ad for a small cost. There are a few ways of doing this, so if you’re keen to promote your ad (and maximise the number of views it will receive!), simply select the “Premium service & PayPal” button on the left hand side of your account dashboard, select the method you prefer and we’ll make sure your ad stands out from the crowd.
  9. A word of advice. Please ensure that you structure the wording of your AD well and that your spelling is correct. This ensure that your AD ids of high quality and standard. We reserve the right to remove ADS with bad wording and spelling.

 

HOW DO I PROMOTE MY ADS?

Log into your account, if you are not already logged in. Simply select the “Premium service & PayPal” button on the left-hand side of your account dashboard and you will be directed to a promotions page. Select the method you prefer and we’ll make sure your ad stands out from the crowd.

 

Simply select the option you would like to use and click CHECKOUT. You will be given the option to pay via PayPal, using either your PayPal Account or your Credit or Debit Card. You might want to create a PayPal Account of you do not have one. It is the safest way to pay for online transactions. Please note that we do not keep card info or any financial detail.

 

Your selections will be as follows:

  1. Premium ADS at $10.00 for 30 days.
  2. Move to Top at $5.00 is used with premium adds to ensure your add is always shown first.
  3. Highlighting at $3.00 for 30 days.
  4. Discount for premium with highlighting at $2.00
  5. Currently we do not charge for “Pay per Post ADS” as our ADS are FREE.

 

HOW DO I REPLY TO A BUYER OR SELLER?

If you are interested in buying an item, you can either:

  • Phone them (if there is a number supplied)
  • Fill in the contact form next to their ad – they will be sent an email
  • The seller’s email will not be disclosed for security reasons.
  • Facility for comments
  1. If you are a seller, you will receive messages from interested buyers directly in your inbox or via instant message on the Classifieds24-7 app. You can also add a phone number to your ad to get calls. Rather use a mobile number than a landline number.
  2. The seller may also consult the “Alerts” section in the Account. This is a very helpful feature.
  3. We also provide an option for visitors at the top of ads to mark ADS as spam, misclassified, duplicated, expired or offensive. Admin will evaluate such claims and investigate. The seller will then be advised accordingly, or the AD may be removed.

When you receive a reply from a buyer/seller in your email inbox, you will notice that the email address of the user is not visible to you, this is a security feature. The same will happen to your email address on the buyer's/seller's side. You can respond to the reply you received the same way as a normal email reply.
